| | Living Greyhawk: Fur3-01 - Redemption, by Michelle Sharp. (RPGA) (GMs Al West & Eric Clark)
The War College of Chendl stands closed, believed “cursed” by commoner and nobility alike. The man believed responsible, Sir Rayvelis Lanistor, has died in prison while awaiting trial and likely execution. Yet one man, convinced of his innocence, seeks out adventurers to redeem the Lanistor name and, hopefully, lift the curse from the war college. Are you up to the challenge? Sequel to A Common Defense. This adventure is suitable for characters of levels 1 to 12.
Living Spycraft: Facing Facts by Dave McAlister (RPGA) (GM - Fish)
(Levels 2, 7, 12, and 17, Code: Red) – In this, the sequel to We’re Off To See The Wizard, the Agency manages to obtain information that points to an unknown organization aiming to bring the world’s stock markets crashing down. Can the agents track down the plot and thwart it? Playing We’re Off To See The Wizard is not required to enjoy this serial.
Tales of Middle Earth: Rescue on the Barrow Downs by Neal Hyde (non-RPGA) (GM Mike McKeown)
Lord of the Rings RPG; characters provided. You do not need the book to play.
On a stormy night, a rain-soaked Hobbit bursts into the Prancing Pony, shouts that his wealthy cousin has been kidnapped, and promptly faints at the your feet. Once revived, Dustor Proudfoot describes finding his cousin's home ransacked and blood tingeing the puddles a scarlet red. He offers to reward you for your help in retrieving his cousin, and a lesser reward for finding his body (its only a cousin, after all).
Shadowrun Missions: Mission Briefing (SRM00-01) (non-RPGA) (GM Pat Schulz)
Your chance at the big time - a friend has tipped you off about a job opportunity to do some bodyguard work for a group of exclusive clientele. You have been trying to break into the Seattle shadow scene, and these are just the kind of people that can help. All you have to do is make sure that their meeting doesn't get interrupted. It's a simple walk in the park, natch!
Mission Briefing is intended as an introduction/demonstration game for the Shadowrun game system and the Shadowrun Missions campaign setting in particular. It may also be used for players and characters of all experience levels. For use with Shadowrun, Third Edition.
The Slayer of Venice (Introductory RPG Game) by Reimer Behrends. non-RPGA
Welcome to this year's Carnival in Venice! Enjoy the sights of the Serenissima, take a boat trip across the lagoon, visit the glassblowers at Murano, attend the festivities, all for the cheap price of $520 plus your immortal soul. Fine print: Encountering vampires, demons, witches or the local Bocca dell'Inferno and/or being killed does not entitle you to a refund (W&H, attorneys at law).
Set in the universe of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this is an introductory game for 3–6 players with streamlined rules, especially designed for people who have never roleplayed before, but would like to give it a try. No prior knowledge of roleplaying or roleplaying systems is required, and characters will be provided. When assigning seats for this game, new players will therefore have priority over experienced gamers.
|
| to: | | | Living Spycraft: Fashion Victim by Christophe Mouchel (RPGA) (GM - Fish)
(Levels 4, 9, 14, and 19, Code: Red) – When an undercover agent thought lost for two years reappears requesting emergency extraction, the Agency sends its best operatives to investigate the matter. The team will discover that, in the world of high fashion, one can really be dressed to kill.

| | Picnic Directions
The Picnic Gameday will be held at Lake Lansing Park North (http://www.ingham.org/pk/LakeLansingNorth.htm). We'll be at the Oak Knoll Shelter, which is the first drive to the right after you enter the park. It's a very pretty park, but you'll want to bring bug spray (with Deet) and some kind of paperweight to hold down your character sheets. Maybe even sheet protectors, as there's no predicting weather in Michigan. We have a shelter, but that's a roof only; no walls.
Also, be advised that it's very easy to miss the entrance to the park; it's just north of the boat launch (which is on the other - lake - side of Lake Rd). I missed it the first time and drove all the way around the lake.
We're planning to provide hamburgers, hotdogs and some kind of non-meat, as well as charcoal/lighter, disposable plates, cups, paper towels and cutlery. People are volunteering to bring various dishes to pass, so please let us know if you'd like to bring something. Grill space is available if you want to bring your own grillables.

It's Fall semester once again, and "school spirit" takes on a whole new meaning.
